Playing guitar, bass, mandolin and song writing continues to be Dirk’s form of creative escape. At some point, however, the passion to play music live dwindled, and the lure of producing great photographic images took over. Since 1988 Dirk has worked and trained with some of the top local and national pros. Dirk enjoys documenting the important changes in peoples’ lives and special events. Dirk has also worked with publishers of local and national magazines creating great images for editorial and advertising content. Dirk’s attention to details, lighting and composition includes capturing the image with a sense of humor as well as professionalism. Dirk has successfully photographed subjects for art directors, schools, associations, corporations, small businesses, and proud parents.

Simon is a people person -- loved by all with an infectious laugh and winning personality that always makes events even more eventful. Simon, an extremely experienced portrait photographer, started in the 1980s working for Lifetouch portrait studios. Simon later became a trainer and eventually left Lifetouch to manage a camera and photofinishing store in Sacramento, California. He then took his talents on the road, working as a sales rep for Eastman Kodak, and traveling all throughout northern California and western Nevada. Looking for a nice place to raise his family, Simon recently moved to the Boise area where he enjoys the slower pace of life along with spending time with his family camping and exploring all that Idaho has to offer.
